I'm so kicking myself for not getting a 15" EVOL. It sounds like only the new models will be produced going forward based on a conversation I had with AoA - bummer.
Congrats. After doing the conversions to ft./lbs. (FPE), it seems a little underpowered at around 20 FPE./764 FPS unless you tuned it that way. They're usually set up from the factory shooting around 28-30 FPE (38-40 joules). Do you guys have power restrictions? Also, what ammo are you using?
Thats a different buttstock then they come with. Is it adjustable? Nothing wrong with it if it works for you though. I like the adjustable length offered by the one it comes with. Nice looking mini in any case.
Right on. I was wondering. The way it is in the pic would be to short for myself. I might look into getting one for my Mini.
Ever think about putting on a folding stock adapter on the Mini? It is about the perfect length of pull with the short Magpul stock. Here's some pics of one on a full size Evol.
