Huben All Things HUBEN GK1 (air pistol) - Master Thread

This is the first negative thing I have heard about the pistol I guess I'll find out for myself.
@Muzzlestuffer that guy created an entire thread with the same title as that video. Look it up if you are interested in his critique focused on the negative aspects the GK1 in his opinion.

Edit: His point about the overall safety of the GK1 is a valid concern in my opinion.

Savagefox appears to be disgruntled. Buyer's remorse?

The GK1 has a couple flaws, but overall, I'd rate it as quite good. It can be adjusted to very decent power, I'm shooting 28 grain slugs in my 22 around 38 FPE. It will adjust quite a bit higher, and much, much lower. Loading can be a little fiddly, but after a while it's pretty easy. Dunno, I wouldn't give mine up. Is it expensive, yes. Does it provide a value that most other pistols can't? Heck yeah.

The video is stupid, also even if you type the exact title, youtube won't show it because it seems that the algorithm punishes bad reviews on products.

But, despite all the filler, the problems adressed are very real. You have the elf vision, just happy to have a semi-auto powerfull air pistol because it's cool, and the party pooper rusian girl vision, that the thing is abominable and unsafe when you compare it to real guns.

I have a GK=1 /.177 on the way been waiting a while but excited to get it. Plan on using it around the house to practice for my bullseye matches I see a lot of comments on these pistols most good any advise would be appreciated.
Thank you !
Just got mine from New England airguns in .177
been very frustrated what sight to use on since my plinking range is from 5 to 35yds.
right now I using my Diana lp8 magnum’s red dot which is working fine but I also ordered a 2-9-32 cvlife ao scope.
yeah man,
this gk1 is fun to shoot,
not gonna lie,
eats ammo a lot faster for sure,
only thing i really hate so far is the loading gate that also acts as stopper for pellets from falling off,
real pain for me so I ended up ordering this magnetic loading gate from ares air gun tactical,
let see how that feels once it gets here,
oh yeah also ordered buck rails 3d printed suppressor for like 35 bucks shipped ,
lets see how that turns out!!!
the stock carrying case is trash honestly no room for sight or suppressor mounted.
i got about 5 mags (@ 550 fps) using 8.4g before I reached 10mpa on the gage
as I can only fill up to 30mpa
honestly I m still contemplating in my mind if bought this semi auto pistol out of sheer hype or I wanted to try how semi auto feels maybe!!!

Just received the buck rail suppressor,
something really funny happened,
First of all I was not too confident that this 35$ including shipping will even perform anything close to 0db or impulse air 350,
now check this,
Installed it and took like 10 shots with my gk1 .177
and the shots were off the target like good 3 inches of spread at 5 yds,
peaked inside the suppressor and saw that few shots were grazing past the first metal ring inside it,
used an appropriate size drill bit with hand force and cleaned the shaving out and and took some shots and pretty dog on as my 0db would!!!
funny right!!!
oh and sound suppression is on par with my 0db honestly quite surprised.

They ripped you 35buck for a crappy 3d printed supresor!?

Mine is included for free in my custom loading gate that cost 1,5 bucks, and also includes a dust cover and a free extra download for precisely correct your problem.

What problem is it? Well, your "perfect" gun factory treads are misaligned in way too many pistols, plus if your barrel is not perfectly aligned and you have to correct the deviation via zeroing the iron sights too far, the barrel to slide press design will also affect the moderator as it sits on the slide, so it end up angled and pellet starts impacting baffles and altering POI.

That's why the elf from the video end up designig a floating barrel version, and thats why I ended doing my solution.

Mine shoots like an arrow even with the Orcair chrono in front of my 0db…
