It appears that GK1 V3+ is the V3 with added extras such as moderator,, scope and mounts for pistol.. no changes the pistol, just a marketing

What sparked my curiosity was this picture posted below. It is clearly marked V3+. And then I started looking around for information about what describes the different versions, without finding anything in particular. That's why I asked if anyone could tell me what the different versions entail.

just contacted kraz cool. He said it's a bunch of malarkey. The manufacturer is constantly changing parts because of cost. The new valve has a steel face vs the old one was brass. Kelly said the reason they changed it was cost. It's not an improvement. Then what happened was a retailer found out about the change and decided to use it for marketing purposes.

I got an answer now. -> "The GK1 V1, V2 and V3 were all made/designed/produced at the same time and the only differences between the V1 & V3 are that the V3's loading lever is the opposite way round (better for left handed shooters) and the internals are made of lesser quality materials."
Nothing about V2 or V3+ tough. I don't bother to use more energy on this. Kraz Cool is probably right, seems like Huben is trying to save some money on a high cost product by cheaping out on materials.

There is enlightened cheeping out on materials and there is dumb cheeping out on materials. In Huben's case, so far, and as far as the GK1 goes, there are relatively few known instances of dumb cheeping out on materials - it would cost them 5 extra Eur or Usd to put better springs in - that's about it.
I also believe that the shroud material is not hard enough for screwing (basically grinding) the barrel nut against it, though this is easily fixable with 1-2 thin 18mm washers in between - so this could be chalked up as suboptimal design and not a materials problem per se. There was also the issue with the loading lever which was fixed in the V3.
In my eyes, Huben's biggest faux pas is assuming that their market is made of people who would never ever mount anything on the pistol (sights, moderators, stocks, bipods); that just makes modding unnecessarily expensive for the end user (of this kind), compared to what could have been. Of these, the lack of receiver 11mm rail and any good stable point to mount a bipod (which doesn't put pressure on the barrel, or on the air tank o-ring, or on the power adjustment piston through the trigger guard) are the biggest issues. Granted, it is a pistol.

I’m tempted to reach out to Jacky directly as another person made that comment. It might be a translation issue but this totally defies modern JIT manufacturing standards. Especially given there’s no domestic market if there were export restrictions put in place. On top of that they also changed the air tube design at one point due to QC issues. I don’t have enough info but seems unlikely multiple modifications would be implemented during the same run. It almost seems like the versioning itself points to this being incorrect. It might be they were all designed at the same time….? Idk, I could be wrong but seems unlikely
