So based on the video, sounds like the V3+ is ‘old’ or of some last revision; the V3 is ‘new’, has the latest/improved changes to some key components. But half way through the video, he is now experimenting with the V3+. I’m confused…why would he be experimenting with an older revision (the V3+). Or am I missing something here.Gregor just put out a new video, may answer a few questions.
The labels on the still pic are mixed up. I hope the left springs/parts are also the other way round. I think the faint copper coloured springs are worse/old and the blacker springs are new/better, or at least maybe that it should be that way. But it could be just the lighting. So based on the video, sounds like the V3+ is ‘old’ or of some last revision; the V3 is ‘new’, has the latest/improved changes to some key components. Based on the comments from.gregor to other people i think that sketch of the valves in the beginning is inverted...he advises someone in the comments to eventually change the internals of the v3 for the v3+So based on the video, sounds like the V3+ is ‘old’ or of some last revision; the V3 is ‘new’, has the latest/improved changes to some key components. Kraz Cool is by far the better dealer. Ares doesnt know the gun and doesnt want anything to do with you after your purchase. If you ask 10 people which retailer is better at service 9 will say Kraz cool.Given that this is the 'master' thread, I figure I'll post my questions here first before starting a new thread. Thanks.
1. Not knowing how the hammerless design works, does changing pellet weight at a fixed power setting change the number of shots one can get ? For example, in .22, lets say I do a setting I like for 18.1 grain pellet. And then I load with the 11.75 grain GTOs, does this increase the shot count per charge or does it remain the same ? I know that the ft/lbs will drop due to the lighter pellet.
2. I'm new to airgunnation (signed up yesterday). Based on my reading elsewhere, I think that Ares and Krazcool are probably the two 2 dealers in the US? Is there a clear 'one is better than the other' here? I'm thinking of sales support, especially given that some GK1s may need warranty work.
3. I read some posts about some magazines seemingly being so oversized that many pellets just fall out or is loose. Is this a known problem? Should I ask the dealer to check before shipping, or has the current version resolved that?
Thanks in advance for any help in understanding this platform.
if you call Kelly at KrazKool, he will work with you and make sure you get a mag that fits what you want. He has a bunch of spares - he swapped out my 2024 k1 mag that had .223 fitting loosely for a 2018 mag to suit the ammo (.219 slug) i wanted to use.Given that this is the 'master' thread, I figure I'll post my questions here first before starting a new thread. Interesting. Thanks for the info. I say 'interesting' because I think Ares is the largest dealer in the US by far. Zach and I had some extended conversations though I don't know him personally but on the strength of that, I was planning on ordering from him. Bigger is not better. That is like saying Walmart is better than other shops for service, smh. Plenty will talk up a good sale. Kelly at KrazKool knows Hubens, takes care of his sales and others that need help.Interesting. Thanks for the info. I say 'interesting' because I think Ares is the largest dealer in the US by far. Ares just started selling Hubens a couple years ago. Kraz cool has been selling and servicing them since they came out.Interesting. Thanks for the info. Ezana can I get your opinion: Which grip looks better to youZach was responsive to me and in good time. I bought a GK1 from Ares and didn’t have any real issues. Take it for what it’s worth to you.
Ares Airguns Tactical - A decent experience
I wanted a GK1 for a while. When I decided it was time to make a purchase, Krazy Cool did not have any in stock. I then found a list of authorized Huben dealers and saw Ares Airguns Tactical was on it. Then I checked their site and what do you know? They had some GK1s in stock and offered free...www.airgunnation.com
@Ultralight See post #114Question. Perhaps I'm not doing the google search correctly but I am having trouble finding how what are the differences between the V2 versus the V1 or V3.
I'd be grateful if someone can point me to the differences. And whether the differences are pros or cons. Thanks
