Huben All Things HUBEN K1 - Master Thread

Open up the reg and check to see if the belleville stack is oriented properly and that none are missing. Make sure part 88 is in there too.
Did you mean to say part 87? Cause part 88 is what you user to adjust the reg.

Thank you!

So kelly sent me part 82 with spares, part 80 and an exta part 81. Everything he gave me.I used one of to replace except for part 81 since part 80 already had 1. I also put the tiniest amount of ballistol on the rings.

here ya go

if you have air exhaling out of the muzzle, i would look into the striker sear as the root of your problem. if the gun starts popping air like it’s going full auto and you can speed up or slow down the popping air by adjusting the regulator pressure.. it’s definitely the striker sear.
No air coming out of the muzzle, just the rear. I do remember air coming out from the mag side when I bled the regulator.

the magazine is behind the barrel and the magazine is behind the valve that opens up for each shot fired.

the striker sear(part#28) is in the video. you can see it cycle to release/hold the opening valve(part#5). mine (part#25) was broken and the opening valve would not fully cycle part#5 which in turn would slowly bleed my plenum. the regulator would try to keep the plenum pressure setting so it just kept pulling air from the tube reservoir(this the leaking air i would hear from the muzzle and area of mechanical action).

he’s my broken striker sear.

Only cost me about 22 dollars to ship my gun to Kelly, I let the PRO fix it , I am a all thumbs type guy, I know my limit
Mike
Yeah, that's what I shouldve done 3 weeks ago. At time point I should send it over but I don't want to keep waiting so I'm undecided on what I'll do.

The gun shoots and the magazine cycles, I can
now fill to a 180 bar while the regulator is set to a 160. But it bleeds out past 180 back to 180

have you tried putting a few drops of soapy water onto the area where you think the leak is coming from? that’s the only way to know for sure. that leak sounds crazy.
if you were here on oahu, i would offer to check it out for you

The thing is that it's leaking from the reg vent hole. I just don't get why, cause it stops once it reaches a certain mpa

Definitely, I'm still waiting to hear back from Kelly.

Okay, I finally got it fixed!

@JaceSpace1369 Which part # is the "top hat?" The only other time I've seen that term is in reference to a part in the Air Force Airgun system. I think it's a part of their valve system, but I'm Unser exactly what that is. Do you have a photo of that part in the Huben K1?
