Almost finished with the pcp plinker/target project!

Trijicon RMR

Huma reg. Plenum delete, and valve body bore/shorten

Corrected LDC mount, and m10x1.0 to 1/2"x20 UNF adaptor + TKO moderator (lighter and quieter that factory, and still fits in case!)

Port polish, barrel polish

Lightweight sear spring, and tightened tolerances on trigger assembly

Hammer fluted heavily, and factory spring cut/stretched/shimmed to provide proper force for 630fps @70 bar in .177 (shot count of 48 from 210 to 70 bar)

Oh, and the HEAVILY trimmed, and molded grip. I'll throw in a factory pic for comparison. Still got to finish sanding, stain, seal, and finish

There's a lot of factors for accuracy. Polishing the barrel is good to smooth out any potential imperfections. The regulator is a huge component to accuracy. I have another target pistol, and some pellets will shoot left or right depending on if they're being shot slower or faster. Consistency is a must. Same goes for different diameters (manufacturing differences) in the same pellet. I have a pellet sizer I use on that one. But I've found JSBs are slightly over the diameter my walther barrel likes, but they're so soft, they still shoot extremely well. Not to mention their weights and diameters are far more consistent than some pellets.

I've done a lot to balance this gun. Weight, hammer, trigger, velocity. But I did put it on a bench and put a scope on it. At 20 yards I can easily hit the bulls eye all day. And it's not picky with ammo either. Everything I put thru it, even 16.1 gr (.177) pellets shot very well.

The gun had some imperfections. The grip did not fit my hand whatsoever, and I doubt it would fit most peoples (thus the cutting and re-molding). But it is huge, so there's plenty of room to make it fit your hand perfectly. The receiver was installed canted in the grip (cutout in grip slightly crooked, (top of gun leaning a bit right when grip was level)). Easy fix. And the front face on the end of the barrel where the LDC butts up against it is plastic, and the way it was molded made it so the moderator did not seat level on it. The pellets were clipping the baffles sometimes. So, I had to level that. If pellets even pass too close to a baffle without hitting it, it will alter POI significantly. All things I didn't mind doing. Still couldnt be happier with the purchase, the way it shoots, and the way it's turned out so far. Easily the most fun gun I have. Super easy to charge with a hand pump, too.
