Alpha Carette compressor problem

Here is a heads up for my fellow air gunners. I purchased one of these compressors about 2 years ago from Air Tanks for Sale.. At first it worked fine but over a short period of time began to get slower. It would pump 1,000 PSI in a hour topping off a 45 minute SCBA tank from 3,500 to 4,5000 in the beginning. Now after 17 hours of use It will only pump 250 PSI per hour under the same circumstances. The compressor is made in China and I was told I would have to communicate with someone there about the problem. If you are going to buy a compressor buy one that you can have serviced here in the USA and talk to someone who speaks English..

Sorry to hear that. It's disappointing to hear. We need to quit supporting businesses that are not helpful after a sale.

Have you contacted the vendor? Seems like they should be able to help you sort out your issue.
