Alpha Wolf .25 ammo help

I just got notice from AoA that the .25 barrel kit for my Alpha Wolf came in so I need to get some ammo to start shooting it as I haven't had a .25 in years and sold off everything I had from that time.

I ordered some JSB 25gr and 33gr MkII pellets which I have not doubts will shoot well.

Looking to hear from others their experience with pellets and slugs so I can narrow down the options and not spend hundreds on testing. So what slugs have people had success with? What brands, weights, diameter have worked out well for you?

Thanks - I'll look into some MkI .34gr .25s as well as the NSA. Wasn't sure on the NSA and other slugs if the .249 or .250 were the place to start.

Were their any other bands of slugs you tried out? I saw a video of one guy having a lot of success with 39gr Wildman Slugs, but I wasn't looking to go up to 175bar reg pressure and those slugs are extremely pricey.

NSA 33.6gr 0.250 were also decent/good.

I tried H&N slugs in 28-34gr, each in .249 and .250. All were decent to good. I settled on 0.250 when there is a choice.

My buddy, John and I both have .25 Delta Wolfs. We spent some time testing pellets today. We shot at 35, 45, 75, and 100yds. Mostly at 100yds. Cross winds were mostly about 3 to 5 mph. We were looking for group size, so we did not adjust for wind. The final two contenders were the 34gr and, unexpectedly, the 25.4gr (AA branded).

We did 10 shot groups at 100yds as the final test. I wanted/expected the 34gr to be the best. But the 25.4gr bested the 34gr by a measurable amount. And that was for both of us shooting two different Delta Wolfs. The 34gr was at about 880fps. The 25.4gr was at about 1000fps.

I'll be ordering more of the 25.4gr. AA, FX, or JSB, not sure if it matters.

When I ordered my Redwolf from AoA, I asked WHAT should I be shooting out of it and they suggested Rangemaster Emperor pellets.
Yes, yes, they are made in the JSB factory, BLAH BLAH BLAH.......
They ARE different. I have compared them. Give them a try. I was impressed.
I also shoot (on medium power) JTS Dead Center 29.63 gn pellets. Those work just as well. Doing hole in hole out to 75 yards.

I am getting very good results in .25 shooting JSB Mark one heavies at 890ftps with a reg pressure of 140bar. Also the Juggernauts shot okay at 925ftps with a reg pressure of 170bar. Looking at trying the wildman 39g slugs but will probably stick with the Heavies for popping rabbits out to around 90yards.

Anyone else got some good ammo/speeds/advanced tunes for the .25 Alphawolf?

I’m not sure about the DW/AW, but the 37 grain ZANs shoot well in a .25 Red Wolf. Stands to reason the DW/AW would also.
Hello .. maybe you can give me an advice on my predicament, my AW is giving me a headache I tried 4 different pellets 34 grains (JSB, JTS,FX ,AEA) and my group at 50 yards are about 2” which I think are bad , I’m using factory settings so far , can you give me some advice ? This is my first alpha wolf in 25 cal. Thank you very much in advance.
