Daystate Alpha Wolf Cheekpiece Problem

I recently purchased a used Daystate Alpha Wolf and have been enjoying it except for one small item - the cheekpiece. I felt that I was really needing to lean my head over the cheekpiece to get my eye in line with the scope. I kept adjusting it (forward and backward) and finally just thought I would take it completely off. This solved my problem but also has left me with my cheek resting on the metal frame. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem and if so, did you find anything to use as a replacement for the cheekpiece? The scope I put on it is a Hawke Sidewinder 8x32x56. Could it be that the scope is the cause of the problem?

You could possibly use higher scope rings. Work just fine on mine.

The cheek piece has a built in riser. Remove bottom section to lower overall height.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I removed the riser and it is much better. Purchased a couple of shorter replacement set screws and it looks great.
