Altaros ATP CNC turned Slugs now in .25 caliber and redesing .22 - huge BC !

Every day we are getting closer and closer to completing the M24 series.

To CHUCK: Minimal weight differences are just one factor to achieve perfect consistency. For example, we tested slugs from the NSA, but even though we checked and sorted these slugs to have the same weight deviation as ours, the consistency was still 3-5 times worse.
This will probably be due to the production technology, where the press cannot make such a uniform outer surface as with our ATP CNC turned slugs.
In the barrel, these pressed slugs do not always have the same frictional resistance and this causes differences in muzzle velocity.

And finally one question and one answer:

1/2 MOA target at distance of hundreds of meters with airgun ?
With our products, it is possible !

Great Job Altaros!

I am waiting patiently for Altaros to come out with ammo like that in .30 & .35 caliber...these are the hot calibers right now and I think Altaros slugs will dominate the market in those two calibers once they are available. Also you should make some hollow point ammo in both .30 & .35 caliber because they are mainly used for hunting.

This is me waiting patiently...

An Impact and most modern PCP's will shoot almost anything into one hole like that at 40 yards, so how about showing us some 100 yard target groups? And do you intend to make these in hollow points also to achieve some expansion on impact or are these just for target competition? You should sell these through some U.S. airgun dealers because with the price of shipping these are going to cost almost $.30 cents apiece...that is just way too much. Maybe you could make a deal to sell them through Pyramyd Air at a more competitive price on shipping? https://www.pyramydair.com/product/fx-hybrid-slug-22-cal-22-0-grains-hollowpoint-100ct?p=1542
Hollow points in a subsonic round is not smart. Penetration of both lungs far more important. I punch through coyotes with the 60 grain.25 all day
