Well after being held up in customs for a couple of weeks my booster arrived compete and well packaged. Any time I emailed Altaros I received a prompt reply and they were quick to supply the info needed to clear customs sometimes more than once. I installed mine so that I could compress from a nitrogen source and after doing some plumbing to do that it is now up and running. I did make a aftercooler for my compressor to removed the water and after about a hour of running not a drop of water came out of the booster. Overall I am very happy with it the only issue is the set point needle will move during operation but a piece of tape will cure that.

How much did you give for it all total? I've really been looking at the F10 shoebox. I already have a commercial grade oil less compressor to use with it but have looked at the Altros also.

Thanks Joe! I guess it's going to be the shoebox. Much simpler design plus USA made so parts are easier to get.

We use a Haskel booster at work to refill O2 bottles, it is a much more industrial unit but the principal is the same and is very reliable. I like the fact that I can fill from separate source. BTW the Altaros comes with rebuild kit.
