I look at the new thread and again a lot of mistakes and inaccuracies, which I already explained elsewhere so I will add the correct information to this thread as well.
The third series is already in production. Most were sold in the Czech Republic and the rest in Europe.
Here is a link to one German shooter who gave the Altaros M24 a new stock.
gregor kamenšek (European airgun youtuber) has already M24 and will definitely do a review later.
The reason for the impossibility of shipping to the US is simple. In the Czech Republic, companies such as UPS, FeDex, DHL and others refuse to transport airguns. When we wrote directly to UPS why the Dutch Krale shop can send rifles to the US and we don't no one answered us. Therefore, the only way to transport to the US is to deal with special transport, which means a larger number of parcels via a distributor.
Our current production capacities (we also produce a lot of other products) have a problem supplying enough M24 rifles to the European market, so for now we have no reason to make complicated efforts to get products outside the EU.
The rifle, that is currently on the market, has a 120cc airtube, which allows it to fire about 10 shots at an energy of 75J per airtube filling (40 shots per airtube filling for a power of about 40J)
All details on the rifle are here:
https://www.militaryairgun.com/pcp-rifles/119-altaros-m24.html or .25
https://www.militaryairgun.com/pcp-rifles/201-altaros-m24-25.html The reason why it is more appropriate to attach a rifle to a tank is that 10 shots is not a big number, but it is enough for, for example, hunting.
The rifles could be seen live by the participants of the European championship HFT Choltice 2022 in Czech Republic, where we exhibited our products.
The rifle used for the world record had a different barrel, a heavy solid 25mm full barrel without an airtube, and yes, this rifle requires a tank attachment. This was because the suitable barrel is not made in 12mm to be used in the airtube. otherwise, it was practically the same version of the rifle as in our website. Oost of the other videos (practically all under 1000m) on our youtube channel were shot with a standard stock rifle that is on sale ( some only with a different stock ). For example, a test of our M24 in .25
(power 112J or 84FPE )
I have fired more than 10,000 shots from some of the rifles without any problems, for example with the connecting tube between the regulator and the bolt.
The fact that it is something different does not mean that it is something bad, on the contrary, it is a concept that eventually others will want to copy, because it brings fundamental advantages.
We are currently considering, if there is interest, a offering the version used for the record, i.e. a variant with a full heavy barrel of 25mm diameter (almost one inch) which requires a connection to the tank for firing, or has the option to make one shot after disconnection.
So if anyone is interested in this option (power was around 90 FPE), let them write here. Of course, we would also offer our suitable slugs for this variant, namely the new types 56gr BC G1 about 0.27 (replacement for the old type 61gr) and also our ATP King 40gr BC 0.21 .
