Altaros problem or compressor

Several weeks ago I was able to refill my AA Slayer to 3600 psi using a Kawasaki 5 gallon compressor without any problems although the compressor would be running the whole time during the refill of my rifle. Well...today I was trying to refill the tank on my airforce condor and when the Altaros pressure hit 4 on the dial the Altaros stopped working, I adjusted the pressure screw and the Altaros started working again. The problem is..... The needle on the Altaros gauge would not pass 4. I took the condor tank and hooked it up to my hill pump to see what 4 is exactly and its only 2200 psi. I'm not sure if its my compressor or the Altaros that's giving me problems. I'm also not sure why I needed to readjust the pressure screw when I t was able to fill my slayer before.Any suggestions?

Also can anyone tell me what the numeric value on the Altaros gauge is in psi so that I don't need to keep checking on it on my hill pump.

We got same message like this in our email from this user, where we had immediately responded that unfortunately he probably did not understand the function of gauge on the compressor properly. We explained to him that this gauge shows only the medium pressure which impregnate into the high-pressure piston and serve only like diagnostic tool, not for displaying the output high pressure, which is on the end of the high-pressure hose leading from the compressor.
For these reasons has manometer scale only to 100bar (10MP or after the transfer 1450PSI). With proper compressor function displays shows on this gauge pressure from 2 to 4 - 5 MPa. So far this user's hand never exceeded the number 4 and the compressor should work properly.
We did not get answer on our email so far, so we assume that everything is working properly and it was only a misunderstanding.

Have a nice weekend

Thanks Altaros for the quick response via email. After some finicking and getting a much larger compressor I'm getting a way better fill time then my small 5 gallon compressor. One of the problems that I was having was the low cfm from the small compressor, and every once on a while I would need to toggle with the small adjustment screw for the pump to restart. I may need to clean out the screw area or re tighten the screw a little so it wouldn't be so sensitive. Other than that the pump works like it should.
Does anyone know where I can get a pressure gauge that will show tank pressure from my boosters outlet hose?

Thanks
