My Altaros has been sitting in US Customs since October 26. I paid for it October 20 and haven't even seen it yet. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. Most people got theirs within a week of ordering. I do not blame Altaros at all, they did everything properly. Michal went out of his way to help me. I tried to call Customs but they never answered my call.

it does look a bit like those James Bond 007 suitcase explosive devices. Or like the Clock Boy's contraption. Customs and Border P are probably consulting Alphabet org right now

I checked email this morning and it is now inbound out of customs. USPS still does not give day of delivery information. Hopefully it will arrive by this weekend.

Good luck getting your Altaros asap. Hope you will give a report of your set-up and fill times when you get the unit up and running. The Altaros looks like a good unit that I would eventually want to buy. Bill

It has moved to Metro, NY. I would have thought when my Altaros compressor arrived in US customs it would move quickly but just the opposite. When it moved into US, it started moving at a snails pace. Very disappointed in our mailing and customs service. This will be my last purchase that involves US Customs.

We are still lucky here in the US that no customs/taxes are due. At least I never had to pay yet. I believe most items going into the EU get taxed at enormous rates, at 30% or 50% or maybe higher.
