Been working on a slug gun in 22 cal for a while now. Got it out to 75 and got discouraged again lol.

Am I missing something? Slug accuracy = terrible!

Welcome to the club. I'm thinking about doing something really stupid, get a Maverick VP .25 and start messing with slugs in it. My other .25 VP just drills pellets 33 gr and down, just turn the HSA and shoot, my .22 compact is now doing the same 18.13 or 16, just drills them. I'm trying to find the exit to that darn slug Rabbit Hole® But I do love a challenge.

My experience with shooting long range (100 yd) with my .22 cal Crown 600mm Mk2 is that it works best with KO .216 slugs. .217? No! With my 30 cal Impact 700 mm, 44.75 gr JSB pellets work best. Both have the Superior liners.
