Am I the only one getting unwanted notifications?

I am getting notifications EVERY time a new thread is posted. How do I turn this off? I posted two threads in the forum feedback sub forum but got zero help there. Is anyone else getting this? It started a couple weeks ago and I just don’t need or want this info.

I am not following these people. Here is an example:

I think you can go into your profile and turn off that feature under preferences
OR possibly they answered a thread your following ?

It looks like you are following an entire forum. Select the drop down that says all forums and then pick one at a time and look in the upper right hand part of the display at the top of the forum and there should be a follow / unfollow button. You may have accidentally clicked one of those to follow an entire form and so you get notifications for all activity in that forum. Go through the forum list one by one and unfollow any of those that are selected.

This is also the same method that allows you to follow a single particular thread, but you can also do it for an entire forum.
