American Air Arms, RAW, RTI and every other brand that doesn’t have disassembly videos GET WITH THE TIMES!

Guys, for RAW PCP's work, I started with this Theoben guide by Jimmie Dee Airguns. The Basic blueprint for the RAW.
While part specs have changed a bit, pretty much the same gun.

^This! Nice post.

Really? You can't be serious, I know you know better. If I do that and screw something up, Motorhead will be shaking his head at me telling me to know my limitations. Besides, you know it is a hell of a lot easier to really scrub the barrel when it's off.

The truth is that anybody can screw anything up and anybody can also learn. It just ticks me off when people sit back and tell others not to try, or learn, because they will just screw it up. Maybe they will, but they will definately never learn anything if they don't try something at some point. People should be helping people with that, not shutting them up or ridiculing them and telling them to ship it off to their betters.
Lol I am being serious as I sold my tools as I planned on selling the gun. Ended up keeping it and well no tools now. Wanted to drop reg pressure and being me I was determined to do it without the tools. So I did. And now I won't buy the tools again as I can do all I need without them. For cleaning I've never removed it to clean but I only shoot pellets. Cleaning, as rare as I do is 2 wet and 1 dry with a pull through and I'm good. As for the barrel tool though yes would be nice to have special parts included. Gauge tool I think isn't needed ever. The gauges aren't tightened down only by hand. Once air was released I easily moved it with my finger tips. And I'm not saying anyone should do it my way, I'm just a farmer that has done lots of different things to make stuff work. There is a work around it all. Not always pretty but i can git-r-done 😂

I wasn't picking on you or your techniques, it's awesome you found a way, without screwing up anything. Don't you know that successfully doing something is only possible by having years of experience first? I'm kidding to highlight the conundrum involved here. I just hate to see where America has ended up, and seems to want to be, helpless, but with a warranty to cover your problems. I'm out on this one.

Your point is well made and I agree. I only buy PCPs I know I can easily work on myself. But again I've had lots of experience so it comes second nature. Having newer people into this I would like to see better manufacturer support on this.
