One reason for severe shortages of ammo is people hoarding. Buy what you need, but not all that your grandkids might need. We can keep everyone in the sport by acting reasonably.

a few years ago Pyramid had a sale $$ and still the buy 3 /get1 deal so i bought 3 cases and got one "free" , that's 100,000 pellets , i have gone through 2 of those cases already . Grand kids will have to buy their own .

If memory serves Remington moved most of their production down south years ago. Remington pulls in nearly a billion dollars a year in revenue. A 73 million dollar lawsuit is a drop in the buck. If they are closing the plant it is for other reasons likely related to the fact that they haven't been run well as a company for years

I had to move my consumables to a new apartment this weekend. 10 or so boxes, about 100lbs each. By the time I move I hope to double that. Then there's the 3-4 milk crates of pellets.

Remington has been under new managment since covid. Thier southern factories were nearly closed and are now back to full production. Getting pushed out of the Northeast has been a blessing.

if you can afford a new gun you can afford a case of 50 tins . A new gun can wait till next year if that's the situation.
