Ammo storage

These snap shut food containers for campers can double as ammo tins.
Plus you can use a tin lid for easy ID or slap a piece of tape on for labeling.

Thanks Ricochet,
You motivated me the other day. In the pursuit of perfect slug storage I found your post. Rather than bags and tin cans I wanted something to keep the ammo protected.
Love your design for sure but made a few small changes for me.
I like the 100 count for easy math and made a slider to take out 10 at a time.
Super quick rough machining prototype with stuff laying around the house. Some improvements need to be made and material changes.

Um... ok so I don't understand the logistics of such a huge plate of pellets. Like... isn't it a huge pain in all regards?
I use these home-printed and sizeable drill bit pucks. They have a coarse thread and knobs that clip and hold them shut... meant for ease of use.

I would sell these but would probably ask more than anyone wants to pay because I print with good petgcf filament and make them pretty dense. These are really great tho. The concept is that a common drillbit is .25 inches aka .25 caliber. Scale up and down for various caliber fits. The .177 ends up being a tiny lil thing while the 30 cal is pretty massive. They slap down on a range bench and leave everything standing for easy access. Only a pain when loading the disks.

I load Zan slugs, and for that matter pellets too, into JTS screw lid pellet tins, they have superior thread VS say H&N tins i used before.
In turn i have 6 of those tins in a plastic bin that fit in my tank bag pocket, other similar plastic bin house my chrono - batteries - tools - oil / grease and picks.
Rifle spare parts follow the rifles. CUZ it is a 2 X 40 min drive if i have a malfunction.

6 tins are most often enough for a nice 2 day in a row at the range during peak season.
