An early morning shoot

Hi Guys, i was out early this morning at first light
05=00 hrs , to attend a shoot just 3 miles from my flat
this shoot is a large bungalow set in about 1 acre of
gardens & lawns ,the owner is a lady who is often away
so has given me the run of her land ,the main vermin problems
are rats & grey squirrels around her bird tables, the gardens are well
maintained by a gardener mon-friday.so i shoot it over the weekend
period, he also tops up the bird food , ,the first bird table is located
on the large back lawn with bushes about 18 yds away giving me some cover,
airgun today is my HW100kt in.177 cal wirh 8.6 grain aa pellets
i sat in ambush airgun ready on my primos sticks,
at 07-00 hrs a grey squirrel was on the bird table happily having his breakfast
when a.177 pellet smashed into his head knocking it off the table dead. a good start to the
morning in the next 0ne hour x2 more greys were shot dead, so thats x3 greys killed, now a move further round the garden to the 2nd bird table right at the back of the garden near a sloping
bank that has several rat holes and signs of them active, she pefers me to shoot them
rather than poison to be used , these rats are active day & night so set up by some shrubs27 yds from the bird table a simple camo blind giving me cover , in about 40 mins a rat appeared at one of the rat holes sniffing the air slowly emerged started to feed on food scattered on the floor,
and was shot in the head dead it jumped around a bit before lying still,
i shot another x3 rats before returning home for breakfast so a total bag ofx3 greys
and x4 rats, a very enjoyable morning shoot.
