I have 2 older version Edgun gauges they both work but a PITA to change batteries and on one of them when I changed the battery it didn't work, I fiddled with it a few times got it to work but the display is much dimmer than before. The real old version had a very stiff cover very hard to press the hidden switch. The newer one's cover is much more flexible and it works OK. I removed both of them from the guns and attached them to Foster fittings. I used them as test gauges check my other gauges. These Edgun gauges agree within 0.1 bar. I'm assuming they are the gold standard and I used them to test my other gauges.
I also bought 3 cheap digital gauge from Amazon (made in China) they all leaked, some day on, other within 3 days later. I returned all of them.
I like analog gauges on the guns so I worry less about leaks, electronic failures or batteries being dead. I like my guns to work and not depend on the whims of tech.
I like the better resolution and accuracy of the digital gauges, but other than setting and monitoring a regulator this advantage is negated by poor reliability and needed battery charging or battery replacement.
