FX Angled Manometer Question

Hey all,

I have a new FX angled Manometer install kit for my Impact M3. It's brand new, but missing the plug for the rear regulator once you relocate it. I'm curious if that plug serves a purpose or just there to plug the hole for dust?

I would assume that it would be under pressure and therefore the plug would screw in. I'm not sure though, so thought I would ask.

Thanks

Hi,
You absolutely need to plug the hole if you are moving the gauge. It seems to me you have a couple of choices. You can send the kit back to where you got it as the $29.99 kit from Utah Airguns includes the plug. You could call UA and have them send you the plug for a likely small additional cost. Or you could purchase another gauge to install with the kit. I have seen a lot of digital gauges used on these brackets as they allow you to be very precise when tuning. Huma sells a fairly inexpensive digital gauge.
Cheers,
Greg
