Announcement from AOA regarding LCS Air Arms.

Considering the recent announcement by LCS Air Arms, we wanted to assure our many supporters, suppliers, dealers, and customers and provide some perspective on this matter.

Generally, we enjoyed selling LCS ’s line of airguns. However, we continue to experience commercially unacceptable delays from them in fulfillment of prepaid purchase orders. Recently, we informed LCS Air Arms of the Rattler™ airgun and announced our intent to offer this airgun line from Western Airguns. We also informed them we intended to continue selling LCS’s products. LCS did not agree with our decision. These issues, coupled with our desire to provide our customers and network with the most innovative airguns, as well as the best support and service, led us to decide to part with LCS Air Arms as one of our continuing suppliers. We will, with their cooperation, endeavor to fulfill any existing purchase orders and continue to service what we sell. While we were supplied by LCS we provided warranty service without fault. Going forward, we will continue to offer this same service if possible. However, without ongoing support from LCS, we will inevitably run into a problem with supply and will be unable to assist. Your manufacturer warranty is from LCS Air Arms, and we trust they will continue to provide warranty support through whatever means they choose. We will do our best to assist any customer if we are able to do so.

As you know, we are excited to offer the Western Rattler .357. When we first saw the rifle, we saw many design changes and innovative components. In our view, the Rattler .357 represents a new and innovative step forward in this type of airgun.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may bring to any customer or dealer. Those who know AOA know that we will continue to provide service and support to our loyal customers and dealers wherever possible.

Wow that sucks for members that purchased a $2000.00 dollar LCS. Doesn't look like LCS wants anything to do with warranty work (and not even a phone number) as they link:
https://hardairmagazine.com/news/lcs-airarms-sk-19-three-year-warranty-details/

"LCS AirArms is a fairly new company, but they have long-term plans. This includes a solid warranty backup and support structure for their customers."

Long term plans and solid warranty Pft.

"Precision Airgun Distribution (PAD) has a long-standing core competency in providing after-sales backup and warranty support in the USA. This provides a firm base for the LCS AirArms 3 year warranty."

No mention of LCS on PADS site?

Glad I didn't purchase one!

Well, this is all terrible.
I've been enjoying my LCS in .25 for some time, and hope to continue to do so. Not at all thrilled about having no support for a $2k rifle. This is going to leave a very bad taste in my mouth. A few days ago, seeing the Rattler, I was very interested. I assumed at the time this was LCS under a different name (for obvious reasons) and was happy to see new products.

Now given this situation i won't go anywhere near a rattler.

I have a LCS .22 that I love. With no slug barrel available, I bought a LW non choked barrel and did the appropriate machine work. Testing slugs now. Also, through AofA, I purchased a .25 magazine. I ordered a barrel from LW unchoked and have it ready to go when I finish testing the .22 components. They are totally interchangeable bolt ins. Same with the .30. With the .30 you need a slightly different magazine rotating arm as it is a 17 shot magazine. The powerplant is identical in all three so I'm waiting for a .30 magazine and ratchet arm. I emailed LCS and they stated that their new US distribution network will be announced next week. There are always two sides to every story resulting in a bunch of he said, she said which rather than jumping to ignorant, rash decisions, I just ignore. I'm certain both parties think they are in the right. I am just glad that there will be continued support for my most fun air rifle.
After the initial production run and the usual tweaks, I'll look into the Rattler IF I think I need a .35 in taxifornia.

There also seem to be some challenges with a range of eastern Europe brand rifles, so you can probably not find all those brands in 1 store.

It is what it is, i personally expect any brand i am interested in / have bought into, to be honest and forthcoming in supporting their products, in this day and age, Support is just about the only place where any brand can make a difference, and even play with the big dogs.
If you do not know this, i am already somewhat suspicious towards your brand.

The fact that i have not yet found a complete diagram / drawing - parts list of my vulcan 3 annoy me immensely, and it do take away from a rifle i am otherwise pretty damn cool with.
At least i have that for my FX maverick.
