Announcing the new FX Impact .35 Caliber

We shall see soon enough. I have my order in and have Ken Hicks doing some work on it.

When I sold my CondorSS 25 due to it falling short of what I wanted, I decided to put coin into this purchase to get it where I wanted.

Unfortunately, I do not see another platform out there at this time offering what FX can deliver without spending a ton more money.Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know there are guns out there like the RAW and others, but you don't see them winning competitions and then turning around and shooting flying rats and coyotes.

the barrel hangs down due to the weak structure. On most guns you can try a barrel strap, but with the “bumpy” CF BOTTLES it’s almost impossible.

I did have concern over the barrel length but this is the first time I have heard anything of a barrel droop issue or a weak structure the barrel secures to.

Yeah if it was a DAYSTATE DELTA WOLF would just chip the concrete. No problem.

Lol no touch screen would probably crack. Now if it were an Edgun the concrete would likely chip

Haha, you might be right there.

If I bought the .35 Impact, I was going to buy it from Ken Hicks at SPAW. Even though I have never owned an Impact, I do know how to completely disassemble and reassemble one. You know de-gas the gun, remove the barrel, remove the scope rail and cheekpiece, remove the valve adjuster-watch Earnest Rowe’s FX Masterclass series. Since Ken would already have the gun, I was going to have him take the gun apart, loctite the parts likely to come loose, change the C3 bumper to Delron (Delrin), and ditch the unreliable gauges the reg one is important when tuning, without an accurate gauge, you’re just operating blind. By the time I did all that and bought an FX Chronograph ( I do already own one, not FX tho) for an apples to apples comparison, I figured I’d just try my first Daystate.

But then your going from a mechanical system to an electrical system to troubleshoot and Daystate doesn't offer .35

Some day you will own an electrical system. I am an early adopter-bought my first PC in 1981 with a 10 MB hard drive. Had one of the first Motorola flip phones in 1990-$850 and 50 cents a minute to use no monthly plans. Been an Amazon customer since 2000 and Paypal from the beginning. I am not worried about troubleshooting an electrical system. In most cases it’s a matter of swapping out an entire assembly. If that scares you, and you’d rather deal with the issues above and look for 47 leaking potentially leaking o-rings and try to guess your way to a tune with an unreliable regulator gauge-buy an Impact. Who cares about a .35 cal barrel kit that can only shoot stubby slugs due to a short magazine? Until last week FX did not have a .35 either. It’s a barrel kit-does that mean Daystate will never have one? I have a .35 cal barrel for my Leshiy. Again, it’s a free country (for a short time more)-buy what you want. Anyone who has tuned a gun knows that 2 important things are an accurate regulator/gauge and a chronograph. Daystate put it all in one. You have everything needed to tune the gun IN the gun. I’m not telling anyone else to buy a DW, just stating the factors that went in to MY decision.

Rudder.-While I feel your handling of ANY brand of rifle air or powder burner is improper and therefore your criticism of that brand is un-warranted but only for those reasons. I hope you do not leave this board or forum. I assure you I said nothing to Michael about you. I don’t know how long you’ve been on this forum, but we used to have a green ball (positive) and red ball (negative) that anyone could put on another member anonymously. It did not take long for the backstabbing girls and shills to abuse it to gang up on anyone and stifle others views and opinions. Michael wisely did away with the red, now there are only green. Last week, my account was locked over the use of the word “*****” (of which there are many here-those who have total praise for a mfgr/product no matter what). The girls have now learned to use the flag post option to submit multiple requests which locks one’s account. Do not go away because of them. Maybe someday they will grow a pair and state their case publicly instead of hiding behind their keyboards. The pair under their chin does not count, those belong to someone else.

I have owned a number of FX guns, and they do win a lot of competitions, because there are a lot of them AT competitions, What a lot of people don’t get is, many of those guns are highly modified before being placed into those competitions, and the guns that win those competitions are not the guns that are being shipped to the average user. When I shoot my guns I am my only competition. I will leave the gun games to others who like the steroid using athletes are looking for an unfair advantage for personal benefit. I look forward to your future posts-carl
