Another coyote bites the dust

I got another one out back right now. The cold weather is making them hungry.

Same as usual. about 70 foot lbs energy with 25 cal FX Impact M3 at about 25 yards distance. I make sure to always shoot from a prone position since it is more difficult for them to spot me in this bright moonlight. Often they don't even know what I am and look at me in curiosity. That is when they notice me there if I make too much noise (which isn't much more than a mouse fart)

Sure thing. It will not be my best production as the lighting was not ideal. I had some technical issue with the scope. I let the battery drain. So I plugged it into my battery pack and got it done. Lucky for me he returned.

Notice. Youtube AI automatically will restrict most of my videos with blood to over 18 viewers. I do sometimes produce less sensitive content but if you are not signed in , you probably will not see these type of videos presented by Youtube

Yeah that was an experiment. They're scavengers. Coons will gobble up that fish soon enough.

I don't usually use the ir light on my rifle. Instead I'm using one plugged into the wall outside. It's brighter but is limited in its angle how I have it setup.

The reason I don't use one attached to the cope is the light bounces off the wall and back into the scope basically blinding almost all abilities of the scope.

Before I setup outside Ir lighting I used to lay the ir flashlight on the ground. Problem with that was these Coyotes move around a lot. So being stationary on the ground isn't ideal.

What I need to do is elevate the ir lighting then it will be ideal
