While I was eradicating tree rats I had this one come in and try to take a dead one. Now he's a dead one...

Walking my dog this morning and another was watching us from a distance. I'm sure there will be more later this summer

Keep it up. We have them coming around here and keeping the stray cats cleaned up. If I was home more than 2 nights a week, I might be compelled to start trying to get them. I think the mange has gotten in these this year as we haven’t been hearing them as much lately. I’ll be looking for more videos or pics of dead ones. Thanks for sharing.

Had to take out a tiny pup wandering about a few minutes ago. Better than starving to death. Strange, the den must have been close

They've become a real problem in my area since the pandemic. A lot of dogs and cats have gone missing in backyards. They even appear during the daytime, which is unusual and don't seem to be appropriately afraid of humans. We have to be extra careful when walking animals after dark. Once, I was walking my chihuahua after sundown and a coyote came toward us. I picked my dog and shouted at the coyote, but it wasn't deterred. It came within ten feet of us before finally throwing in the towel. Scary stuff.
