The amount of trash afterwards is just insane. Image *everything* you keep outside and in a garage getting washed out, times everyone in your county.

It really is insane. During Frances and Jeanne in 2004 it looked like Jeanne was a major CAT 5. People collected all their trash and demo'd their homes from Frances and it was all out at the curb when Jeanne hit and went EVERYWHERE. Let me just say, law enforcement goes through a lot of tires during these events.

Just wait till every house has roofers working on it and the roads are carpeted with roofing nails. I lost count in the months after Ian. Theres more plugs than rubber in mine

In still on Ceder Key but leaving shortly. My house is on high ground in a no flood zone...we are going to test thst theory...Can't take all my guns so I put them on a shelf and said good by...gotta' go now wish us luck and prayers.View attachment 384449

The storm surge got to under the blue house...notice the hill going down to the gulf. The road is 2nd and F street higest spot on Ceder Key. I was standing on the side walk in front of my house...as I was about to evacuate.
