Airmarksman Backbone rail
Who has purchased this rail ( Utah airguns ) and had accuracy issues after installation? I had two distinct point of impact groups with every pellet and same tune that didn’t happen before. When I took the rail off it went back to shooting great, so I put the rail on a machinist table and it...

they have three different lengths, they are on sale today at Utah guns. as well 0 moa or 30 moa

People just like to complain, don't buy it if doesn't float your boat. This is what the fun is, playing around and improving, sometimes it doesn't help. Look how this sport has grown. Say anything you want here, but a lot of you sound like Karens. I m happy to research and try new accessories.

I like the concept, but that design is hideous imo. Perhaps one that locks the rear block portion with the front, a 20moa base, and also looks similar to the original design.

Just read the above post. My bad. If they could make those two holes at the end accept a quick disconnect fitting, perhaps a good sling design could come out of it.

Just received my new backbone rail (thanks Alex) put it on and shot a few groups to see how it compared to last one.
Did not have time to check for trueness just some hurried groups no flags etc.
Pretty representative of what it would do at 50yds before first rail.
These were all 5 shot groups three and six each.

I was looking at the photo of your gun. Too bad they didn't make one of the circles tight to the block a quick disconnect fitting and a little lip in the rear. It would be nice to see an incorporated sling design for hunting purposes.

Good point on the sling! Maybe couple of washer and a bolt through one of the round holes! I really like the single point sling and it being one piece unlike the factory 2 piece design I would have zero concerns with a good single point sling on the rail. But it’s my bench gun so might end up with a compact with a chopped rail for hunting that I currently don’t do……….

For those of you with the backbone, exactly how thick (Tall) is it? The back section that is stiffening everything- not the scope rail part Curious what the overall height is.
the stock rail is a little more than 1/4" thick. Looking at this picture above i would guess maybe 5/8" thick?
