I have a few bins full of Kral parts. Every now and again I find a part and it causes me to build a full gun around that single part. I picked up some Winchester Mod100 barrels years ago in .308. I had profiled one to fit a Kral action probably 2017ish. I see it from time to time while looking for other things. Today I found a carbon fiber tube with a 14mm ID. That reminded me of the barrel and it went from there...
19" .308 barrel. Sleeved in CF with a press fit bushing on the end for the barrel band. A Kral Mega action. A Puncher Breaker tube with the mega fill end. A JSAR valve and cocking Lever. A mega stock and a Donnyfl to finish it off.
The valve are known to make huge power and the ports are definitely there in this rifle.
It will likely become my Coyote rig. Only gets a few shots a fill but light even with the steel tube. Should still make near 100fpe even with that short barrel. Lots of hammer weight and spring testing. Anyone not familiar with the JSAR valve it breaths fire but not real tune friendly. It wants to open all the way on every shot unless you really balance the hammer weight and springs.
It's in a wood stock now and can't decide to keep her there or put her in a synthetic.
