Nice! I look forward to every night getting out of the house and rat hunting. I don't have thermal or infrared. I just set up a bait station that's has enough light for me to see them.
You're right! The rats can't hide from the thermals...unless they cover themselves completely with mud and close their eyes when I'm scanning....just like in the movie,"Predator". Hahaha.
Sometimes I can see them "glowing" through the aluminum siding if they're stationary and all I'd see with the IR scope would be a tail hanging where the aluminum meets the concrete wall.
