This gun was a 1322. I'd hand fit a hp krugergun pcp kit to it, and messed up the breech finish with excess heat from cutting. I re-blued this breech a while back, and I didn't do such a great job. It looked ok at first, but was splotchy, and turned brown pretty quickly.
Come to think of it, I did use browning solution prior to bluing. Hmmm, lol. Live and learn.
Very thorough sanding with 600 grit, and then layed several layers of oxpho blue with a paint brush. Wiping and burnishing between coats with 000 steel wool. Then washed in water, and let it sit overnight coated in my compressor oil, haha. I recently did an old Brocock pistol, and it turned out super well, too. That gun used to rust if you looked at it funny. Not anymore!
New Tom West stock came in as well!
