So I figured out my hammer spring adjustment on my Sniper XR. I cranked it up almost as high as it can go. I’m looking to shoot the 20.3 gr Howler slugs out of it at distances out to 100 yards or so. TP is on the highest setting and I have the reg set at 145 BAR. But it only shoots these (lightweight) slugs at 790 fps…….barely 28 foot/pounds. Is that all this gun can do, or am I missing something?

Chances are the reg needs to go up, wouldn't max the hammer as you want room for adjustment.

Cool, thanks guys….. I wasn’t sure how high I could go with the reg. I’ll bump it up to 155 and see what she does. I did notice on the AoA site that they state “up to 30 ft/lbs” for this rifle. So I guess it’s right in line with the specs…….next gun will be a .25 cal so I can sling the lead a little further……thanks again.
