I finished a tripod head yesterday. I like the way it turned out. I haven't been satisfied with the bipods I have purchased for hunter field target shooting. Here is what I am trying. I took a leg off of my camera tripod, making it a bipod. Then I needed a cradle to hold the rifle. Years ago I bought a rubber transom saver for a boat. It had a price tag for 3.99 on it. I punched a hole in the bottom using a modified 3/8 connecting nut with apin thru it. I epoxied it into the yoke making a rifle rest for my bipod.
