My buddy's Anschutz in Holland, done again by the UK premier Mod Master Guru- Jon Harris ; now renamed Harris Engineering

Specs from my Dutch friend...

- The scope is a Sightron SIII LRMDCM (mildot reticle, milrad turrets).
- A reflex red dot sight is fitted to assist in rapid target acquisition (Chinese Trijicon copy).
- Garima sidewheel. The connector is made by myself to fit the Sightron, this was originally a Leupold fitting wheel. The Garima connector looks much nicer than mine, see http://garimavelic.wixsite.com/garima/prodotti for more info).
- For the sidewheel pointer I use tip of a feeler gauge blade of a size that is just thick enough to be clamped by the top of the ring mounts.
- Sun shade is a Nikko Stirling one, much lighter than the original Sightron.
- Scope rings are Sportsmatch ATP61 (adjustable for height).
- Scope rail is Jon Harris.
- Bipod is a foldable one from Centra ( http://www.centra-visier.de/produkte/zubehoer/dreistellungskampf/bi-pod/ )

Nice FT setup. I would love to trade my Steyr for a rifle like that.

I imagine, that it will be over 3000 euros.

I saw something like that at the Worlds in Portugal last year,from a shooter from England. The Guy said that Jon Harris built the rifle from scratch. I would love to have one.

Mate, speak to Robbie...he knows Jon and has commissioned him in the past...Robbie is going to Wales FT Champs ;-)

All you need to do, is to get an Anschutz 8001 , 8002 , 9003 or 9015 block action only .... into Jon Harris's hands and the conversion is actually very reasonable; doesnt matter you bought a steal deal ex 10 m Anschutz air rifle for peanuts. So you dont have to buy a brand new Anschutz rifle to have Jon do conversions..see my point ?

To get the action to Jon, or from him to you back in Canada is all do-able...whether direct, or via Netherland, or via a tourist, or whatever...easy as ordering fish & chips mate...

I strongly suggest you research how you get a new rifle on your PAL license...explain the situation to authorities, take into account any import tax, no tax if 2nd hand etc..., then once armed with knowledge simply shop around for a 2nd hand Anschutz in Canada or abroad with a view the seller sends it onwards to Jon in the UK; I do this on regular basis by buying from eGun.

Alternatively buy direct from Jon at GBP1550 for Junior stock version of the 9015...

Thank you very much

Robbie is a great guy. He has helped me quite a bit, I still have some work left, if I make it to any more Worlds. I do love the competition. I might just find that perfect rifle for FT.

We will see what the next year brings.

Mate, this was Robbie's gun done by Jon Harris - South Africa in 2009 

Ask Robbie how he got it ; hint- he flew from South Africa to UK, rented a car at airport, drove halfway up the UK, met Jon, paid him, took the gun, drove back to Heathrow that day, packed the gun and took it back on the next flight the following morning to South Africa (!!!!?) ; that tells you something about Jon Harris's work 

then ask Robbie - what he did with it before he emigrated over your way ;-) ...he'll cry his eyes out when he tells you the story..and PS: Give him my regards ...
