Anschutz Anschutz LG380

I finally got to shoot my (new to me) Anschutz LG380 yesterday. Some tweaking of the diopter and I was ready to go. Here are the first 5 shots at 11.8 meters. I am very pleased with that, especially with my old eyes looking through a diopter sight. I have to do some convincing in my mind that what I am looking at is actually centered I wish I had the eyesight I had when I was younger!! I plan on installing a scope on it in the near future.

It's amazing how much fun these 10m rifles are to shoot. I now have the FWB 300s, Diana 75HV and the Anschutz LG380. All 3 bring a smile to my face when I shoot them. While I have some more powerful springers, there is just something about these old 10m rifles. The precision and craftsmanship are like a finely tuned swiss watch.

That’s a beautiful rifle that you have there. Great shooting on your part too. I’ve become slightly addicted to ten meter rifles lately so I understand what you mean about how fun they are.

Nitrocrsher starts with beautiful rifles. Then he makes them shoot like that. End results, rifles we all crave. He is a craftsman and a good guy.Thanks for sharing. Oh, if they aren't pretty when he gets them, he remedies that also.
