I was reading this blog from a guy that posts a lot of them on tuning (almost as many as pa blogs) , but this hw he was doing in it on the mainspring he used copper antiseize . Now like most i guess its been a moly or now that krytrox ..

So anybody not in a pinch or common practice used the copper antiseize on just the spring ?

P.s
Not globbing it on but a nice thin coat

Being a milwright and industrial mechanic (certified). I know what antiseize is snd does. No harm no foul on the spring if i ever got in a pinch.

Anyway i wrs refering to this guy from another airgun blog and just threw it out there to see .

I'll only use one lube in the spring chamber. Every time I used different lubes for the spring and piston, I've found a mess of mixed lubes later. Despite advertising no lube stays put in that violent environment.

There's lots of good choices for spring/piston lubes. Pick one for and use a quarter of what you think you need.
Ya, im not into mixing just for that reason.. heck swapping from the moly stuff to krytrox was a pain ..
