Any air rifle shooters in PA near Philly?

I'm down that way but don't have any sweet shooting spots at the moment, not for lack of trying.

If you get a $20 dollar hunting license online from the State, you can use the State gamelands shooting ranges. There is one northwest of Allentown and one by Elverson [French Creek]. I go to French Creek shooting range to shoot at 50 and 100, although it's not ideal, it gets pretty crowded and you need hardcore ear protection- so I'm still on the hunt for some land to casually plink and set up my gear.

I'll PM you to stay in touch

PS Check out a new facebook group Central PA Airguns that someone here started.

Delaware County is a nice club and usually the membership is open with no cap on the number of members but I suppose not right now. That will change but you will still need to get sponsors to sign your application. I suggest that you actually go there and speak to Tracy in the office. Delaware County is south of Philadelphia.

I also belong to a club north of Philadelphia, near Morrisville, PA. Falls Twsp. Rifle and Pistol Assn. has a decicated airgun range and we have airgun silhouette and airgun field target matches, both sanctioned. We also have an indoor range. There is a process to join and we do have a membership cap which we are very close to right now and you do need a sponsor. Our airgun matches are open to non-members and members alike so check our schedule and show up for a match and let us know that you want to be a member. It will take a little effort on your part no matter what club you want to join. Our website is FTRPA.org.

I belong to both clubs and they are both usually looking for new people. Delaware County's airgun program, after many many years of activity is kinda stalled right now but that hopefully will change. Both clubs have very good facilities.
