Anyone know of a group or a local club, or anyone interested in starting one in the Kansas City area

No. But in OKC there is an excellent field target match just about every month if you want to give it a try.

YES! There is an active group in the area and we shoot at Ft. Osage Gun Club and also at Pioneer Gun Club. We shoot a USARBR match monthly at Ft. Osage Gun Club and mostly for fun at Pioneer Gun club both indoors and outdoors weather permitting. PM sent.

Thank you Brink I will look into that. It is about 1.5 hour from me but certainly better than nothing. I am Closer to Wyandotte county and Johnson county Kansas.

Ft. Osage Gun Club has a great group of guys that compete I look forward to the 1st Saturday of each month.
