ANY FEEDBACK ON THIS....? (Yong Heng rebuild)

The piston that gave me 3.5 years of faithful service (on the left in picture) has a nylon spacer whereas NEITHER of the replacement pistons have one! There must have been a reason for it & I'm reluctant to try yet another "rebuild" before asking about it.

Well, here's the deal. I DID NOT notice it BEFORE I put the new piston in! I did disassemble the HP cylinder today to see if that piston was in good shape, it is. However, I wanted to avoid having to drain crankcase oil AND having to break the seal, & maybe gasket, on the LP cylinder. All I have is a pre used gasket left for that. So as it stands now it's all back together without the spacers. Gonna run it in about an hour after Permatex sets to see if nothing leaks & if it will build pressure after installing new reed valve. I'll post my results. WHY would they not include the spacer on NEW piston assemblies?

When I received my new piston/rod assembly, I also noticed that the plastic spacers were not installed on the wrist pin. I assumed that the manufacturer didn't put them on there for a reason, so I installed the assembly into the compressor without the spacers. So far, it's been running like a top; better than before. I have about 3 hours running time on it.

Just ran it. No noticeable change in sound or vibration so I assume it's running smoothly but, NO JOY! Still only builds 100psi. Guess I'm lucky in that this hunting season (ground squirrels) is nearly over & I'm getting my 60 & 45 minute tanks topped off Sunday at the dive shop. My 15 & 30 minute tanks are full. Between my 4 tanks it SHOULD hold me until: A) I get the compressor promised to me. B) I get a new YH, or C) Winter arrives before I run out of air 🤪 :ROFLMAO: THANKS all you guys for the help!
