FX Any Ideas

I have an impact mk2 power plenum with X liner that I bought new. Never had any problems and has taken a lot of game and put thousands of rounds thru it. Last fall I had to rebuild the regulator. It shoots minute of squirrel head out to 70 yards, but it really opens up beyond that. Reg is at 80, valve is open producing 900 fps with no creep. Shooting 25.3 redesigned. Do I need more reg pressure? It doesn’t sound like it is using too much air and I get around 70 shots per fill. Barrel is clean. Any ideas?

I assume yours is a .22 given you said it's shooting 25.39gr RDS, those are moving pretty for such a low pressure if so. What's the accuracy like past 70yds? Does it just open uo to an 1inch or 2, or you talking about 6-10" spreads?

Redesign pellets are not 100 yard pellets if im not mistaken.
Not an FX but my RW NEEDS the pellet going 970+ to get good accuracy at 100 and I've taken out to nearly 300 yards with good accuracy and stability with certain batches. Others are still good at 200 but go unstable somewhere past that. I've not had good luck with lower velocities except in my EVOL at 890. Barrel dependent apparently...
If it has shot well in the past, thorough barrel cleaning may be on the menu. You might revisit the reg pressure as that sounds low for the velocity which would mean a lot of excess coming out the barrel... not efficient...

My Impact for benchrest at the shooting range is tuned around 960 FPS with redesign pellets. I cannot complain about accuracy.

I have always read that redesign pellets arent the best for 100 yards and above, this is for precision shooting and not hunting.

In recent couple years the JSB MRD's accuracy fall apart. With my Impact MK2 I can get them group in a 1 MOA @ 50 all the way up to 70-80 1.2 MOA, but the 100 is a no go with these anymore.
This based on thousands of shot tuning and testing.
I see they came out with new designs, I still have some ten or more tins before I would need to buy again.
