Good idea, I think I have an old fill probe that I can modify.

oh dang, thats not good! maybe time to figure out a set screw for that?
It is a set screw, with a rubber rod inserted in a hole parallel to it which presses on the threads to sort of keep it in place. It might be possible to make it 2 shallow/filed set screws one on top of the other, but the length of the original screw doesn't lend itself to that very easily.

I didn't install the grip had problems with installing the shorty kit I bought from Kelly plus I had knocked the mag stop out of position. Kelly put his magic touch. Ask me if I wanted to try the new grips so I yes it and this is what I got back. Kinda reminds me of my old chrome plated llama .45.
Never noticed the V3.+ No idea lol. It looks to screw on just like the other grips. Pix with my V3 .177 & V1 .22.

The only issue I've encountered with a stock GK1 in .25 (stock except for an aftermarket loading gate) so far is squeezing the trigger and the gun doesn't shoot. Sometimes I have to squeeze the trigger twice. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not letting up enough off it or what. This has occurred shooting seated, 34-grain, domed-diabolo pellets. Anyone else experience this shooting pellets?

That is one beautiful looking pistol Mike!
I wish I could get a shorty conversion kit, but unfortunately Kelly is the only one in the world doing it, and he doesn't ship abroad :(

@Ezana4CE This should only occur when getting to the lowest air pressure the valves will operate on. Also, if you squeeze the trigger and it doesn't complete a shot cycle, pay attention to it and where you are aiming because there may be a delay in rhe shot going off when your not on target. The Rttlr will do the same.

@AirgunHobbyist I don't understand the bit about the delay occurring when I'm not on target. If it abruptly point the pistol towards the dirt and squeeze the trigger, I expect a projectile and compressed air to discharge just as I do when the gun is pointed at the target.

@Ezana4CE I have both read and experienced the delayed shot, as well as the gun not shooting when having pulled the trigger with the semi-autos. With the 45, I was testing it's lower air limits and it didn't shoot right away. I dropped it off target for a second and the chronograph didn't make it. ;-)

@Airgun-hobbyist I think I can better understand what you mean. I'm not sure if it was delayed in my experience. I had to let up and squeeze again.

@Ezana4CE The GK1 does this to me from time to time if my initial fill from the big tank is low. Then when I'm close to the end of the magazine there's not enough air pressure to break the shot. I too have found that it will work with a couple squeezes of the trigger.

@Airgun-hobbyist Thank you. I can't recall exactly where I was in the shot cycle. I think I was starting around 220 bar and finishing around 120-130 bar after 15 shots. I just don't recall where in the shot cycle this occurred last. I'll try to remember to write that info down if it occurs again. I think it may skip a shot at times as well.

@Ezana4CE If it's skipping shots it doesn't sound like the magazine is rotating or is over-rotating sometimes. Pulling it apart and cleaning and lubing the inner workings along with pulling the magazine off the bearing for cleaning should fix that. I found bigger flecks of lead in the magazine bearing area, where an accumulation would become an issue with rotation eventually.

@Airgun-hobbyist I'm hoping that isn't the case. I am not comfortable taking these semi-autos apart.

@Ezana4CE The GK1 isn't all that bad once you get into it. There's a few videos about degassing and stripping it for a good cleaning and inspection. If you'd rather, your GK1 should be under warranty and the skipping of shots may be a warranty issue.

Found another one: the power setting screw can very slowly and gradually unscrew itself (by tiny amounts during each shot), leading to a slow increase in power over time. It is more pronounced at lower power settings.
The first time sighting in the .25 cal GK1 I set the 25 gr JSB at 860 fps over the crony, low report, and shooting good for one mag. About three weeks later, I went out camping and was shooting the gun, and the report was louder and 1" high & low drop over 10 shots at 40 yards. I believe it was the K-curve. I didn't bring my crony with me on this trip either. I was planning on removing the power setting screw and adding a drop of VC-3 thread mate and resetting the fps and see if that takes care of the issue.
