Huben Any issues or problems with Huben gk1 please share your experience

I shot 4 mags back to back to test it out today, and it started double tapping. I noticed the trigger became lighter and even though I was shooting slow it dumped air and jammed. Going to give Kelly a call in the morning.
When I first got my GK1 It jammed and dumped air multiple times. I was pretty discouraged with it. Then, someone on here said the trigger adjustment was too light causing double tapping and jamming on the next round. I tightened the trigger screws and have not had another jam. My gun is a 25 cal and I am shooting the 33.95 pellets around 750 t0 800 fps. I also added a folding stock and scope which works very well. I do not seat because the mag holes seem to be tapered toward the front and mine was jamming in the front.

I do seat pellets, mainly so they don't rattle around the mag. I don't push them all the way forward. Just enough that they gently "click" into place.

I had a couple of jams in the beginning as well, but it hasn't happened for many months.

The two main issues seem to be:
- firing so fast that the mag index can't keep up
- using the wrong ammo.
Both of which have an easy solution.

I haven't heard of that since the beginning. I'm very curious as to what kind of firing conditions produced that damage based on other reports of 10,000+ rounds through with not issue.

There's no shame in trying to get the most out of your new toy but I would really love to know if those were user error like a result of rapid fire shooting at 5000 psi with the valve all the way open or if this is something that could just happen at random when not rapid firing and shooting closer to the 40 fpe spec of the .25

Early on we heard of a few mainsprings being bent or even broken. I had one that was severely bent after less than 100 rounds. I made a spring guide for mine and haven’t experienced any issues since.

I’m curious if this problem still exists or if they are making something different, mine is one of the first ones.

Dave
What did you use to make a spring guide?

I tried .25 H&N 20.06g FTTs shot 1 768 shot 2 jammed 1 in the chamber and a jam down by the mag loading gate. Shot 3 it degassed. Off to the print room to clear up my mess. Back shooting JSB Kings 740ish 30fpe there bouts. Guess the 20.06s go to the .25 Flash Pup.
Any thoughts on why these jammed? I've shot a whole bunch of H and N crow mags and heavier pellets but not the 20gr.

No earthly idea why lol figured it was just my usual bad luck in choices.
I think I have those pellets or at least similar light ones (19.something gr) coming because I was able to get them for about 3.6 cents per round. I will be disappointed if they jam.

My other 25 calibers are a stock aea carbine 😩 (I don't even need to put these in there to know that they will jam immediately in that gun ) and some souped up airforce guns only one of which (18" barrel) would be able to shoot these at subsonic speeds. Got to wonder how fast these would scoot out of my Doug Nobleized 24" TJ condor haha

I've been meaning to shoot the 18" barrel gun more because I spent so much time shooting that thing over the pandemic (got it right when it started spreading)... that gun feels like a part of me. OK I'm way off topic here…

But to take the question more seriously...I have a slow leak. But not always. How is that possible?
Now, is not so slow. From 350b to 310 In a couple of days...annoying. Not long ago, before this, was stable around 220b. I waited a week or more, and nothing changed. I don't understand.

Ps: The temperature change effects this. But the numbers seems too drastic.

I just got those cheap H and N pellets from field supply. 3.6 cents a round shipped. They are the 20.06 grain field target trophy. I was able to fire a couple of magazines without any issues, but I'm always careful to just barely seat them. Good for low power plinking.
I just retried the .20.06 careful to check the fit of each one. Not problem this mag full.

i had a slow leak (a bit faster, though) on mine as well, and at a ceertain pressure it stableized. turned out that the leak came from the part with the regulator pin. there is a post in about it in this thread, i believe. i got a a new part and o ring from the supplyer, but the leak got fixed by resetting the o-ring and tighten the part properly. very stable on 350bar for over a month (after that time i wanted to shoot again!) maybe this helps, good luck finding and fixing the the leak.

Thank you, I'll look into it.
