Any Members Use This Tank Carrier?

This is made to store tanks from rolling and costs $60 per pair. It's not a cost effective alternative.

This roll control link is for the replacement strap only. It would be a great option if it included the base but it's merely a strap. A member of this forum makes 3D printed base pairs with bungee cord straps made to the exact tank diameter for $45 at his last offering.

Thank you for pointing this out @Humdinger. I checked with the company and they confirmed it. Overlooking or misunderstanding the site’s description and product photo drastically increases the price point of components to make a tank carrier. Good catch.

This is what I put together for my 45 min. SCBA bottle. Works very nicely for me.

My 45 min SCBA bottle with fill station as pictured (without the cradle) weighs 15 Lbs. full of air. The wooden cradle alone as pictured weighs 3.5 Lbs. so that is not an insignificant addition to the weight of the bottle. However with the whole setup at less than 20 Lbs. I don't see it as being too cumbersome. I also have a 100 ci little bottle (like the guppy) that weighs 4.5 Lbs. full of air with fill station, I tend to grab that one when I am not going to be shooting all day and using a ton of air.

I believe the bag was hand made by a member of the board named "loren" last I looked they were still making them I have even seen some pics of double tank bags and guppy bags that all look just like mine . You can't beat the quality that's for sure there's padding all throughout the bag and extra in the bottom plus with the saddlebags you can keep all your fitting and couplers in there with lots of room to spare . Maybe I should try to get them to do me a pouch for the regulator I have to match my current bag. I always get comments on it when I take it to the range or the diveshop to get it filled

Thanks
