Tuning Any Old School Theoben Rapid guys on here? -- Leaking problem

Hi all... I recently picked up another AZ Theoben Rapid, but it was made available to me I believe because of a leak. The rifle still shoots great however, and I can get 3-4 clips through it before it drops off too much, so obviously the leak isn't horrible... but you can easily hear it and it won't hold air over night and if you don't run through your clips quick enough, you have a problem.

I'm hoping someone on here might have some insights and be able to share so O-ring replacements suggestions as the leak is coming from the front the gun where the bottle attaches to the main block. (Or right below the front scope ring, I can't exactly tell) But I'm hoping it's not much to fix and would be appreciative of a diagram and/or suggestions for those who've worked on them previously to shed any light and experience you may have.

Kindest Regards,
-Jimmy

When you REMOVE bottle, Look down into the female threaded area of the stainless steel connector.

If you see what looks like a ( IIRC ) a radial 6 hole round brass piece .... THAT WOULD BE a Fast Flow adapter ( Non regulated )

IF you see a brass piece that is just a single hole in the middle that would be a Regulator.

Hope this helps.

So began taking things apart...

Did notice that this rifle is non regulated:

Checked this front end piece of AZz work... all looks good:

Then, unscrewed the tank and as a test, put just 100 PSI into it and.... Bingo!!! The tank when completely separated from the gun is leaking. From my MFR days, I don't think it should do this.

Is this fixable? It's coming from deep inside the nozzle...

Thanks!

She’s pretty dirty and greasy. The smallest spec of dirt, lint, etc. can cause a leak too. As said above a complete rebuild may do her some good. And, you’ll get to know her better too!

I have a complete tear-down/rebuild guide I can email you if you want.
