Snowpeak Any snowpeak M16 rifle owners?

I like the looks of the wood stock, and the full tube length vs bottle guns.

Anyone have one of these? I know it's basically a stoeger scout, or technically vice versa, but i prefer a wooden stock.

How's the weight and handling? Trigger? Report without a moderator?

I have one and have been really enjoying it.. I prefer the wood as well so I ordered mine from Wes at Airgunarcheryfun. The stock I’m not very fond of actually because to me it feels too bulky and somewhat 2x4ish.
However the reason I went with wood was for two reasons , the 1st being its lighter than the synthetic ranger or scout and the 2nd being I knew I could reshape/refinish the wood stock.
Mine shoots very well with h/n 23grain slugs .217 size @ about 815fps in stock form. I believe the reg is around 2150 or so.
I get around 40 shots on reg or roughly 3-13 round Carm mags on a fill.

I would love to see that gun torn down. Years ago when it was introduced, I almost ordered one just to tear it apart.

Thanks for the info. The stock is definitely on the thicker side for sure.

How loud is it without a mod on it? I know it's has an air stripper and a decompression chamber, whatever that is lol. Pretty sure it just vents the air out the back shroud ports.

I removed the shroud, sleeved the barrel with carbon fiber and I run it without a ldc of any sort.. to me it’s not loud and sounds like the valve is quite an efficient design because it doesn’t have the typical loud pop to it that most pcps have unmoderated.. hard to describe really, I mean it sounds like a shot but doesn’t rape your ear drums like there’s a huge blast of wasted air behind the projectile it’s pushing..

Also I’ll add that the factory shroud and stripper do nothing to reduce the report and both the barrel and threaded adapter on the stripper are odd ball metric threads and not 1/2-20.. so there’s that.

The threads being odd ball is certainly off putting. I guess ill pass on one and just shoot the revere lol.

I want one in 177, I'm hoping that Wes gets some in his next SPA shipment. I want one with a bottle, however. I will make a new stock for it.

I also have one in .177 - Not working at all when i got it.
Pins from the trigger was in the bottom of the box.

Did so much work on it - even changed the Barrel to a Weihrauch Barrel from a HW 100.
Also changed the trigger geometry and replaced the regulator to a Huma.

Now it shoots very good. - I never had any luck with the original Barrel.
Its just standing in my rifle compartment - haven't shot it for a couple of years.

I wish i purchased the Diana Outlaw instead- Here you get nicer stock, Diana Trigger geometry and more.
A better rifle for slightly more money.

Looks like AoA handles the Diana Outlaw but they are out of stock on a 177. It has a prettier stock but it won't fit me. My arms are too long. I also think I want a carbon fiber bottle. So hopefully Wes will get some.
