Any Texas lawyers ?

Bedrock Bob’s warning applies to other LE and nonshooting activities, too. Even if what you did was legal.

I was in a state park doing something I had checked and determined was allowed. A new park ranger decided he was going to test his powers, but his knowledge of the state laws was wrong. Rather than continue arguing with someone who was bent on giving me a ticket, I left. Then I called the park’s chief ranger (the newbie’s boss), who confirmed that yes, I had been within my rights doing what I was doing. BUT butvbutbutbut the rangers always had discretionary powers.

Lesson: It’s OK for a park ranger to make up his version of the written laws. Hopefully, chief ranger still warned newbie to bone up on the laws.

None of the above involved shooting of any kind. It was about paddling a kayak.
