Anybody have personal experience with this compressor?

Ohio_hunter I’m glad you mentioned the exploding compressor. I had mine give me problems Out the box but I wanted to fill my tanks before I returned it ,running it 5 minutes at a time I filled 2 & @1.5 bar on third tank I seen sparks, motor seized and you could see coming down the hose what looked like internal fire changing the color of hose and the wire spring around it all the way to the filter and stop. Yes it was burnt from the inside, hope this is covered under the warranty? can’t wait to try again

This is the same one that's on that link I posted ? When did you buy it ?

"cajun1."M-rod air is selling them on their page with a converter so you can use 110/220 volt. $399. But no I don’t know anything about them but I thought about giving one a chance.
They haven't had these in stock for a couple of months and multiple emails inquiring about availability have been ignored. The are a joke for customer service other than quick shipping. No cs after the sale

You are talking about a Yong Heng compressor. Nothing to do with the compressor we're discussing on this thread.

If it’s being sold by mrodair that’s a reason not to buy your pretty much on your own with any purchases from them.
So I had decided to be a guinea pig and ordered this compressor 4 days ago. As of yet it has not shipped and no info given other than an email stating that no tracking would be available for 3 to 5 days. I was talking to a Pyramydair guy I buy from all the time about the nomad and he told me he knew 2 guys that had bought this compressor (not the nomad) I started this thread about. Both had issues and couldn't reach anybody for help. I have now cancelled my order and have informed paypal to be proactive. Oh well...

Hi Gunners, I got this little 12 Volt compressor yesterday in good condition. Its a very small thing, but the little vent (due to high revs) produces the same loudness like a bigger YongHeng.Bringing up a standard Hatsan Gladius pressure tank from 150 to 200 bar needs approx. 50 sec. and it sucks 20Ampere/12 Volt on working out of the attached 12Volt LiFePo4 batterie. The attached batterie (below of the compressor) has a capacity of 20 Ah and so it should be able to run for 1 hour (realistic and better for the batterie would be 40-50 min. That’s very o.k.The whole bunch (incl. batterie) is very easy for transport. They delivered also some spare parts like o-rings and filters for the pcp hose, but I`m missing a manual …However, the first impression is better than expected. Now the time will tell us more.
