Anyone Ever Shoot This New,Weird Looking Slug Called The ARG?

Hi guys. Some of you may know me from these topics:

Basically, I am obsessed with precision. Irek, the creator of ARG slugs, is obsessed with precision like me hence it is not a coincidence we got in touch together and Irek is my buddy now. We spent a lot of time talking over the phone and we live close to each other in Poland. Here is the promotion video showing the development and production of ARG slugs:

If you are into the slugs and you are struggling with finding the right pill for your barrel you should try ARG slugs.

Small test
When will these be available in .30 and .357 calibers?

According to Irek it is hard to say because there needs to be a correct ratio between the length of the boattail slug and its diameter. Due to this restriction there may be a problem to seat them in the generally available mags. So they may be dedicated to GunPowers only (or other single loaders which have enough power to push them hard enough).
I understand where Irek is coming from, as boat tail design and function matter. If they are designed in such a way that they are magazine loadable they will sell more. Magazine internal depth for .30 caliber is usually under .500" and for .357 caliber it is under .750" The .30 caliber magazine has traditionally been shorter because of standard pellet sixe and slug lengths being under .400" . With the .357 gaining big bore popularity and more and more big bore 357 designs being manufactured, it is made in more "slug friendly" chambering and magazine depth. A rebated boat tail .357 slug at 150 grains should fit in these magazines, and be about .725" long.

cześć Tomek, też mam artemisa m22 w kalibrze 6,35. po moich modyfikacjach polegających na przewierceniu tulejki mosiężnej pomiędzy portem transferowym a blokiem na 5,2 mm. dodając dwie podkładki łamacza pod sprężynę łamacza, doszlifowując transfer portu w lufie, poprawiając (polecam) i ustawiając mechanizm spustowy, osiągam 272/276 m/s, 78/80 Juli. 9 pełnych strzałów z 250/150 barów. reduktor ustawiony na 150 bar,

Here is my preliminary review of the ARG Slugs in .30cal.

Hello, I just received a package of 1.3g slugs for my FX Maverick 5,5 500mm airgun.
Im a bit concerned. I ended up at 900fps / 275ms in speed. I have only tested it in my back garden at 20m distance. But at that speed the results where amazing. Hole in hole, for real. But, flyers kept coming. About 1-2 out of 10 made flyers. And that was big ones. About 10-20mm at that distance is alot. That makes me a bit worried. Is that lack of quality control or what can it be? Any suggestions from you experts ?
Other than that, Im very very impressed of the precision from them.

I had a few fliers at 50 yards too with the .30cal ARG slugs. I feel they fit too snug in the Maverick's barrel compared to my other .30cal slugs. Hopefully, the .22cal slugs work a whole lot better for you!

Update after 3 boxes of use. I have tried for me all possible variants now. Those great shots from very beginning is now gone. I have no clue of whats wrong. Tried all possible variants of speed and pressures. With and without silencer etc. The bullets are all over the place. Now 1-2 out of 10 are good. Is the soft lead creating some residues inside the barrel?

Wow, so sorry to hear that...
What caliber were you shooting?

Im shooting .22. All data is up there. Its of course shooting pellets great. All from 25g jsb to Hades. And even Knock out slugs. Whats really strange is that they started to shoot worse and worse with same settings. And were talking about BIG differences. At 20m its about 20-30mm now. Was so happy in beginning that I ordered 3 more boxes. I have 1 full left, to no use. And that picture above from Krales homepage doesnt make the bullets justice. They look great.

Anyone tried these slugs in a RTI prophet 2?

Latest comments are not positive about ARG slugs but I'm happy to try the 5.5. The RPB barrel surprised me with a few things, positively.

Off, to see if I can find ARG slugs in Bulgaria.
I think that the biggest difference has to do with the super soft lead the ARGs are made of, as I feel these will quickly foul the barrel, especially one with traditional rifling.
