A black gauge would look greatI always use Tru Oil. It’s not convenient or quick but it’s for guns and holds up to solvents and other stuff that guns go through. Here’s another picture.

You are correct. If I ever have to degas the gun for some reason, I’ll put that on my list. Hopefully this version of their gun has the 1/8 gauge threads and not the M8.A black gauge would look great
No. I just mounted my scope as low as possible and still have plenty of magazine clearance. I have zero interest in their pic rail for this gun. It’s fine the way it is.Anyone else think that the comb is too low on the walnut DRS?. I'm not very impressed with mine.
No loctite, it's just very snug I held my received between my knees and turned off the cylinderHas anyone already removed the cylinder? I need to install a new regulator, but I can't immediately release the pressure cylinder. Is it just screwed into the block with loctite???? (not logical)
Just rock solid

Been shooting my 500mm .22 every evening for almost a week. No bipods, just shooting pellets between 20 and 75 yards. This is a good gun. Plain and simple. They nailed it with no tube or fat bottle hanging off the gun like some kind of tumor. My gun spends all its idle time leaning in the corner by the barrel. Grab it by the barrel and take it outside to shoot. This style gun rewrites shooting a PCP. Hope it stays trouble free.
My reg is somewhere around 110b. I’m shooting Hades 925-930fps. Out to 75 yards it’s spot on with them. There will be no survivors unless I screw up. Shot count? Haven’t really concerned myself with it since I started filling my own tanks in 2018. But, with a hunter I like to have a general idea. My gun will easily do 3 mags. I’m not killing that much of anything on a hunt. I would get bored first and quit. It likes 18gr and because it’s an FX, polymags are generally like kryptonite. I actually built a barrel for my squirrel hunting M3 just so it would shoot a Poly. For normal range hunting, I will take a Poly over a slug. I’ve never had a “liner“ gun shoot them to my satisfaction in any caliber. Stuck with Hades/Atomics. I have Wally 14.3’s but I never even thought to try them. I would be surprised if it didn’t. I might be a little hot for them and I’m not touching that little reg unless I’m rebuilding it.Are you getting the shot count and power that FX published ? Seems like the perfect squirrel hunter . Did you try any CPHPs , 16gr Hades or Polymags ?

What speed? My .25 M3 just wouldn’t shoot them until I think I went real slow. My Vet .22 will send them fantastic at 935fps. I will try them again out of my DRS tonight now that I have my hammer set where it needs to be. I will give it a mag to season for those softies.Just from memory I was thinking about getting decent groups with the Maverick using Polymags. I tried it today turning down HS to #6 . It's tuned for 25.3s . I tried the Vet standard also just for a friendly shoot-out . More pellets shot the better the accuracy on both . The FX took a few more shots to settle in . Both of the 5 shot groups were under a dime at around 48 yards. Didn't touch the scope on either .View attachment 473711
I just shot 30 .22 Polymags. Ten 3 shot groups at 30 yards Going 925-928fps. Things got better after 21 shots but I’m still not even thinking of moving to 50 yards. I think 30 is enough to season the barrel so I think I’ll scratch them. I also single loaded them because the DRS has a pretty aggressive spring in the mag. Oh well.
Super clean holes in paper for sure. And slug or better devastation on animals within their effective range with the bonus of being safer. You had my FX liner hopes up when I thought I wasn’t giving them enough shots to rule them out. But it was still worth the try.I only shot 10 pellets with the Vet . And 12-15 pellets with the FX. . The 2nd groups were much better than the first 5 round groups with both . 30 rounds should be plenty for checking the accuracy . Imo . I've had the same tin for years . It's too expensive for the amount I shoot. But I bet they would do a number on a big gray ground squirrel. They sure cut a clean hole on paper .
I did see a YT video that is explaining the different lenghts of the screws:Does anyone else have problems mounting that angled manometer bracket on that large plenum? It seems that the screws (M4x16) are too long. But I think the internal threads in the plenum are not tapped deep enough. However, the hole at sight is deep enough.
What do you propose? use a blind thread tap to lengthen the thread or simply place shorter screws? M4x15 or M4x14??
A friend of mine was able to use the original M4x16 screws. It looks like there are some batches here again with threads that are too short!
FX, unbelievable!
