FX Anyone got there FX DRS in yet??

Very true, you can go longer but it will look funny but certainly you can not go shorter. I’m hoping they will eventually release a DRS compact like Dreamline compact soon.
I had the Crown with a 380mm barrel. Sweet handling rifle. Had it shooting JSB Hades at 910 and very accurate. But the Crown had a 480 bottle which still gave me like 50 shots . You won’t get much of a shot count out of a 380 length air tube on a DRS.

Very true but they could make ticker carbon air tank for the compact and I shoot sub12 so should be plenty. My dreamtac compact with 170cc tube gets 100 shots or more at sub12 which is more than plenty.

The probe looks to be similar to the Dreamline probe, but the parts drawing says pellet probe, Dynamic. So, if pin probes for the Dynamic are already available, they should work in the DRS. Mine already has the dual transfer port.
I can't find the slug power kit in the USA, but this website says they are the same.

I wonder what the differences are between the Dreamline probe and the Dynamic/DRS probe? I have a Dreamline, I may pull the probe from the DRS and compare them, if I can figure out how to safely remove the barrel. I have to remove the barrel on my Dreamline to swap probe because I can't figure out how to get it out and back in without removing the barrel!

Huma-Air's shipping has gotten ridicules! You pay more for shipping than you do the item you're buying. I'll wait till they are available at some of the U.S. Vendors...
Tell me about it. I used to order from Huma fairly regularly. Had to buy two regs about a week apart recently and had to be revived by paramedics once I realized what I paid in shipping for two tiny regs. They now got moved down to my absolute last resort place to order from.

Working on a Picatinny Rail for mine.

3D printing out of PLA to check fitment before printing in carbon fiber reinforced nylon. I ordered a small dovetail cutter so I can cut one out of aluminum.

Wow! Very impressive! I wonder is one could be made that would accommodate the larger Crown/Dreamline magazines?

DRS Mag

Crown Magazine

The Crown magazine is really getting way past the dovetail, which means it would also get into the material connecting the front portion of the rail to the rear. Would need to change the design to have a joggle across the magazine opening to keep the front and rear connected. It doesn't look like any great connection point for the Picatinny rail on the front half unless it clamps on horizontally.

I thought about a wider section over the mag well, which might work if it was made of aluminum, but would probably flex too much since, as you pointed out, there is no attachment point in front of the magazine well.

Fits like a glove. I made a change to the mag slot. narrowed in on the front end and printing another PLA version for another test fit.

The Crown magazine above is from MK I ,25cal. Anyone know if they have changed? How long of a projectile will the other non-DRS mags accept in .22cal?

That looks great! How sturdy is it was a Scope attached? I was looking at the parts breakout and it appears there is a mounting point in front of the magazine well. Or is that just an error in the drawing?

DRS Pic Rail.jpg

I know my DRS has a very small hole toward the front of the block and an off-set larger grub screw. The small hole doesn't appear to be used in the drawing and I'm not sure what the larger grub screw in the off-set hole does.

On my rifle the forward hole has a set screw installed in it. The two rear 3mm holes are empty. I will have to pull that forward set screw and see what falls apart…lol.

I have no mounted the scope yet. Still sorting out the details using PLA. I will print one in Nylon-CF then mount the scope. Right now the rail is a snug slip fit onto the dovetail on the receiver and doesn't move once in place. I am also waiting for some screws to arrive for mounting.

I tried to remove that small set screw on the top and it wouldn't budge. The two on the side that look like they secure the barre did, but the top one wouldn't budge and I didn't want to force it and possible strip the hex head. I'm interested to see if you can get it out. I'd also like to learn how to remove the barrel. Seems like the gun will need to be completely degassed and the cylinder unscrewed to do it. Which seems like a lot of work if you just want to change the probe.

I'm just used to removing the barrel from my Dreamline to swap probes when doing a caliber change. 3 screws and your done, one for the probe and 2 for the barrel. When the barrel's off, you just drop the probe into the block, line it up and tighten the screw.

If the one on top is a barrel retention grub screw, it seems odd it's not identified on the parts drawing like the 2 on the sides.
